Kwamigah-Atokple proposed that the NDC chapter in the UK and Ireland make investment promotion one of its key areas of work. According to him, this could support President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda and the 24-hour economy policy. He also urged participants to identify reliable investment opportunities, facilitate contacts with potential investors, and support companies planning to start or expand operations in Ghana.
Fundraising for social projects
Kwamigah-Atokple supported the Aldershot branch’s decision to use its second anniversary celebration to raise funds for the provision of drinking water and other social projects in Ghana. He noted that access to clean drinking water remains a challenge for some communities and donated an undisclosed amount in US dollars to the campaign.
He also announced plans to visit the NDC chapter in the UK and Ireland in the coming months and meet with its leadership and members. According to him, these meetings will make it possible to discuss strengthening the chapter, attracting investment to Ghana, and supporting projects to improve living conditions.
