Djokovic plans to retire after the 2028 Olympics

Legendary Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has stated that he would like to retire from professional tennis after the 2028 Olympic Games.

According to the athlete, the ideal finale for him would be to end his career waving the Serbian flag at the Olympics.

However, Djokovic noted that he cannot guarantee this, as many factors—including his physical and mental condition—are not always within his control.

Currently, the 38-year-old tennis player remains among the leaders in the world rankings and is the reigning Olympic champion—he defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the final of the 2024 Games in Paris.

A new stadium in Bucharest will be named in honor of Mircea Lucescu.

On April 5, Mircea Lucescu was placed in an induced coma following another episode of severe cardiac arrhythmia. He died on April 7.

Rebrov reacted to Lucescu’s death and recalled their years of rivalry.
