FIFA Wants to Change the Rules of the Game in the World Cup Final for the Sake of Pop Stars

FIFA plans to extend the halftime break in the World Cup final to 30 minutes. This decision violates the current rules of the game established by the International Football Association Board, which limit the halftime break to a maximum of 15 minutes. 

The changes are necessary to host a large-scale musical show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where Madonna, Shakira, BTS, and Justin Bieber will perform. In addition, the tournament’s closing ceremony, featuring Robbie Williams, Nicole Scherzinger, and actor Tom Cruise, will begin an hour and a half before the start of the final match.
