Ukrainian Paralympian Anna Sheremet won a gold medal in the singles event at the 2026 World Championships in rowing and para-rowing in the Netherlands.
The Ukrainian athlete finished with a lead of nearly 20 seconds over Belgium’s Laurence Vandeveyer. Claire Girinelli of Switzerland took third place.
Anna Sheremet retained her title as the reigning world champion.
Anna won the singles race in the final of the para-rowing program, according to Ukrinform.
