Hearts of Oak draw with Bechem United in Ghana championship — MyJoyOnline
In Ghana, football club Hearts of Oak dropped points for the first time this season after drawing 0:0 with Bechem United in the third round of the Ghana Premier League. The team failed to break down the opponent’s organized defense at the University of Ghana Stadium but retained first place in the table after three unbeaten matches.
Kotoko and Samartex draw
In another match of the round, FC Samartex 1996 and Asante Kotoko drew 1:1. At the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad saved a penalty in the 66th minute. Nine minutes later, former Samartex forward Emmanuel Mamah put the visitors ahead with a header.
Christian Agyenim Boateng equalized eight minutes later. The result allowed Samartex to maintain their unbeaten home run. The club climbed to second place and moved level on points with Hearts of Oak, while Kotoko remained fourth with five points after three matches and without away wins.

Basake Holy Stars beat FC AshantiGold 1:0, Hearts of Lions and Swedru All Blacks drew 0:0, while Vision FC and Medeama finished in a 1:1 draw.
In the next round, Hearts of Oak will play Karela United, Bechem United will host Dreams FC, Kotoko will face Aduana FC, and Samartex will travel to Swedru All Blacks, MyJoyOnline reports.
