Mudryk has returned to training with Chelsea
Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk took part in his first training session with London’s Chelsea following the lifting of his suspension for violating anti-doping rules.
The 25-year-old soccer player joined the team in Hong Kong, where Chelsea is holding its preseason training camp. Photos from the Ukrainian’s first training session have already been posted on the club’s social media accounts.
The club plans to assess Mudryk’s physical condition following his extended break. He is not expected to play in any friendly matches but will train with the first team. Once the training camp concludes, club management will make a decision regarding his future.

Mykhailo Mudryk stated that his four-year suspension has been lifted and that he can return to professional soccer immediately. Chelsea explained that the decision is related to a change in scientific standards for evaluating doping samples, meaning that under current rules, the Ukrainian player’s test would not be considered positive.
As a reminder, Artem Dovbyk has officially transferred to Bologna.
