American tennis player Serena Williams will return to the US Open in mixed doubles, where her partner will be the reigning men's tournament champion Carlos Alcaraz. As Channel NewsAsia reports, citing Reuters, the tournament organizers gave the duo a wildcard to participate.

For Williams, this will be her first competitive match at the US Open since 2022. The American has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles and claimed the US Open title six times.
