At age 49, the coach of an Italian soccer club died suddenly

Fabrizio Galasso, assistant head coach of the Italian soccer club “Viterbese,” died suddenly at the age of 49.

He passed away in his sleep. He was found by the team’s head coach, Andrea Bussone, and one of the deceased’s friends. They immediately called an ambulance, but paramedics could only confirm Galasso’s death.

Law enforcement officials are investigating the cause of the coach’s sudden death. It is most likely that Galasso suffered a heart attack in his sleep. He died in a small hotel in Rome.

Previously, Galasso worked as an assistant head coach at “Trastevere” and for the women’s team of Rome’s “Roma.” He also served as an assistant coach for the women’s team “Donna Roma” in Rome. The coach is survived by his wife and 9-year-old son.
