UEFA will pay Russia more than 2.6 million euros under its solidarity program

The Russian Football Union will receive 2.677 million euros from UEFA as part of the solidarity and incentive payments program based on the results of the 2025/26 season. Despite the suspension of Russian teams from international tournaments, funding continues.

Of the total amount, 1 million euros is a fixed solidarity payment, and another 250 thousand euros is allocated under the club licensing and financial stability monitoring system.

The RFS will receive an additional 1.427 million euros for the development of women’s soccer, the training of young players and coaches, the fight against match-fixing, and to cover the travel expenses of national teams.

At the same time, Russian clubs and national teams remain suspended from international tournaments organized by UEFA and FIFA starting in 2022 due to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
