The WBC has set a deadline for organizing the Usyk–Kabael fight
The World Boxing Council (WBC) has set a deadline for reaching an agreement on the fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Agit Kabayel. The bout is set to determine the world champion.
The deadline for organizing the Usyk–Kabayel fight is June 30. If the boxers fail to reach an agreement on the bout, it will be put up for a promotional auction.
Usyk may decline to fight Kabayel. However, in that case, the Ukrainian will have to vacate his WBC championship belt, according to Boxing Scene.
