The WBO has reinstated Usyk in its rankings after he relinquished his championship belts
The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has reinstated Ukrainian super heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk to its ranking of the top heavyweight boxers. The updated list has been published on the organization’s official website.
The 39-year-old Ukrainian, who was removed from the rankings last fall due to his status as the reigning champion, has re-entered the list after relinquishing all his titles and immediately took second place.
The top spot in the rankings is held by WBO Intercontinental Champion Moses Ituma, who remains undefeated in the professional ring with a record of 14 wins, 12 of which came by knockout.
The current full-fledged WBO heavyweight champion is Britain’s Daniel Dubois. He won the title in May by defeating his compatriot Fabio Wardley.
