Rafael Nascimento, a 34-year-old UFC fighter from Brazil, has died

Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Rafael Nascimento, who competed in the UFC, has died at the age of 34. Medical personnel who arrived at the scene attempted to assist him but were forced to declare him dead.

 

Brazilian MMA fighter Allan Nascimento died at the age of 35, according to a statement from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

“Allan Nascimento was found unresponsive after apparently suffering a heart attack in his sleep,” the UFC statement said.

It is noted that the medical team that arrived at the scene attempted to assist the athlete but was forced to declare him dead.

In UFC tournaments, Nascimento fought in six bouts, winning four and losing two. Overall, Nascimento had 22 wins and seven losses in mixed martial arts.
