CD Projekt Red to release The Witcher 3 remaster in September — The Verge
CD Projekt Red will release The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on September 29. The Verge reports. The updated version of the role-playing game, which was first released in 2015, will receive improvements to its graphics and combat system, a redesigned skill tree, and other changes.
What the remaster will include
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered will also include the first two expansions for the game — Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Owners of the base version of the game on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S will be able to get the remaster for free.

Version for Nintendo Switch 2
Simultaneously with the release of the remaster, The Witcher 3 will become available on Nintendo Switch 2. The remaster is being released after the new-generation console update that CD Projekt Red released in 2022.
The studio also plans to expand the franchise in the coming years. CD Projekt Red plans to release a new expansion for The Witcher 3 titled Songs of the Past in 2027 and is targeting 2028 for the release of the next main game in the series, The Witcher 4.
