Google is testing a change to Gmail addresses
Google has begun testing the ability to change email addresses in Gmail.
Google announced this.
Previously, users could not change their address—they had to create a new account.
Now, in test mode, you can edit the part of the address before @gmail.com without losing access to your emails and data.
Your old email is preserved, and you no longer need to manually transfer your information.
The feature is currently available only to a limited number of users in the U.S.
It is currently unknown when this feature will be available in Ukraine.
