Covering an area of approximately 600 hectares, the center has been allocated 100 square kilometers of dedicated airspace. Aircraft can operate at altitudes up to 1,200 meters without requiring prior flight permissions.

The facility is equipped with six runways and four vertical takeoff and landing pads, supported by a 5G-A communication network that enables real-time navigation and monitoring.

Guangdong province is a leader in technological innovation in China, and the establishment of this center reflects the nation’s strategic focus on advancing aerial transport solutions.

The center's launch addresses previous challenges faced by companies, such as stringent flight restrictions and a lack of specialized testing grounds, thereby accelerating the commercialization of flying cars and drones.

This initiative is expected to catalyse the development of the flying car industry in China, paving the way for broader commercial adoption and technological progress in the near future.
