Musk launched the XChat messaging app

The team behind the social network X has launched a new messaging app called XChat, which is currently available only to iOS users.

This was announced on the official XChat account.

The app can be downloaded from the App Store, but in some regions, particularly in Russia, it is unavailable at the time of launch.

The developers state that XChat features end-to-end encryption, supports message editing and deletion, prohibits screenshots, offers group chats, and includes a disappearing messages feature. The service is also ad-free.

You can only log in to the messenger via an account on the X social network, and it is tightly integrated with the platform.

Journalists note that XChat currently looks like a separate interface for X’s private messages rather than a fully standalone messenger.

Elon Musk stated that a degree is not always an indicator of quality education.

American billionaire Elon Musk has amended his lawsuit against OpenAI, demanding that the company’s CEO, Sam Altman, be removed from the board of directors of the controlling charitable foundation. The entrepreneur is also seeking more than $150 billion in damages from OpenAI and Microsoft.
