A study revealed that over 80 tested headphone models from these brands contain bisphenol A, bisphenol S, phthalates, and chlorinated paraffins — substances linked to cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders, and hormonal imbalances.

The greatest risk occurs when headphones are worn for extended periods during sports or in hot weather, as sweat and heat accelerate the absorption of these harmful chemicals through the skin.

These findings highlight the need for stricter quality controls and more thorough safety assessments of materials used in everyday electronic devices.
