Threads surpasses X in daily mobile users, new data reveals

Threads boasts 141.5 million daily active users on iOS and Android, compared to X’s 125 million mobile users, indicating steady growth for Threads in recent months.
While X maintains dominance among web users, Threads has shown sustained growth on mobile platforms over several months. This trend appears independent of recent controversies surrounding X, including illicit use of its integrated AI, Grok, to generate non-consensual deepfake images, prompting investigations by authorities in California, the UK, the EU, India, and Brazil. Meanwhile, the drama around X has led to increased app installs for the social network startup Bluesky.
