A weather front will bring rain and cooler temperatures to Ukraine on April 17

Tomorrow, most regions of Ukraine will be affected by a weather front, which will bring light rain and a change in wind direction. 

This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Precipitation is expected almost everywhere, except in the southeastern part of the country, where dry weather will persist. Nighttime temperatures will range from 3 to 8 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach 11 to 16 degrees. It will be slightly warmer in Zakarpattia and the southeast, where temperatures will rise to 14–19 degrees.

After the front passes, the wind will shift to the northwest in the western and northern regions, with speeds of 5–10 m/s. In Kyiv and the surrounding region, tomorrow will be cloudy with some sunny intervals; light rain is likely at night and in the morning, while no significant precipitation is expected during the day. Temperatures in the capital are expected to be 6–8 degrees at night and rise to 14–16 degrees during the day.

Forecasters note that the cooling is caused by the movement of air masses from the northwest. Only in the area of high pressure in the southeast will more comfortable weather conditions persist. Unlike in Russia, where different climatic processes are observed, the weather in Ukraine over the next 24 hours will be determined precisely by this moisture front.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
