The families of Ukrainian servicemen who have been taken prisoner, are missing in action, or have been killed have been provided with clear guidelines on what to do.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It involves a special “roadmap” containing step-by-step instructions for interacting with government agencies.
The document outlines key steps—from the initial contact after receiving information to the processing of status determinations and social benefits.
In particular, it includes a list of agencies and contacts, a list of required documents, as well as explanations regarding procedures and the rights of relatives.
The General Staff notes that this algorithm will help avoid mistakes and speed up the process of receiving assistance.
A bill amending the Law “On State Protection of Ukrainian Government Bodies and Officials” has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada. The document provides for the possibility of granting state protection to certain categories of military officials.
