Budanov has taken over as head of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, by Decree No. 268/2026, appointed Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President, as Chairman of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support. He succeeded Andriy Yermak in this position as part of a reshuffle of the advisory body. 

The Council’s new composition also includes Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Mudra and Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, who have assumed the positions of deputy chairpersons of the Council.

Larysa Yaremchuk, First Deputy Director General of the Directorate for Socio-Economic Policy at the Office of the President, was appointed Secretary of the Council. The Council for Entrepreneurship Support was established to coordinate the efforts of the state and the business sector amid martial law and aggression by the Russian Federation. The primary tasks of the council’s new composition include developing mechanisms to stabilize the economy and improve the investment climate in Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed diplomat Mykhailo Brodovych as Ukraine’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia. The position had been vacant since 2022.
