The State Bureau of Investigation conducted 61 searches in connection with the case of misconduct at the TCC and announced 15 suspects
The State Bureau of Investigations has released the preliminary results of Operation “Honest Draft.” As part of 17 criminal cases, law enforcement officials conducted 61 searches, served notices of suspicion to 15 individuals, and detained two suspects.
According to the SBI, the investigation concerns illegal interference with the “Oberig” registry, fictitious mobilization and reservist registration, aiding and abetting evasion of military service, artificially inflating the performance metrics of Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRCs), as well as cases of violence against civilians and the concealment of such crimes.
Officials from the Territorial Military Commissariats and the Joint Staff in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Kirovohrad regions, were notified of the charges, along with one law enforcement officer. During the searches, authorities seized cash, cell phones, military registration documents, and other materials that may serve as evidence in the case.
The State Bureau of Investigations emphasized that Operation “Honest Draft” is ongoing, and new findings from the investigation will be made public after the necessary investigative actions are completed.

As a reminder, law enforcement officials in the Odesa region exposed the organizer of an illegal scheme to smuggle conscripts abroad. According to police, 147 men were attempting to be smuggled out of the country under the guise of sailors.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have uncovered nine new schemes for evading mobilization in various regions of the country. As part of special operations, 23 organizers of these schemes were detained; for a fee, they helped men subject to military service avoid conscription or illegally leave the country.
