Up to +34° and no precipitation: What will the weather be like in Ukraine on July 17?

On Friday, July 17, sunny and dry weather will prevail in most regions of Ukraine. It will be hottest in Zakarpattia, where temperatures will reach +34°, while in Kyiv, forecasters predict comfortable temperatures of +25…+27°.

Most of Ukraine will see light cloud cover—perfect weather for those who are tired of last week’s unpredictable rains. No precipitation is expected; only in the south of the country may there be variable cloudiness during the day with light, brief rain or thunderstorms—but this is the exception rather than the rule. The wind will be from the northeast at 5–10 m/s—light and refreshing. Nighttime temperatures will range from 16–21°, and 13–18° in the northeast; daytime highs will be 23–28°, 26–31° in the west and southwest, with intense heat reaching up to 34° in some parts of Zakarpattia.

Earlier, average nuclear power generation in France fell below 33 GW, the lowest level in the past nine months, due to the need to limit output at nuclear power plants. The reduction was caused by a critical rise in the temperature of the water in the rivers used to cool the reactors
