The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Shkurakov as Deputy Minister of Defense for Finance
On March 27, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Vasyl Shkurakov as Deputy Minister of Defense for Finance and Internal Audit.
This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, Shkurakov will be responsible for building a transparent and well-managed financial system within the Ministry of Defense.
Key tasks include effective budget planning, managing all sources of funding, strengthening economic analysis, developing internal audit, and digitizing financial reporting.
Shkurakov has over 10 years of experience in public finance. Previously, he served as Deputy Minister of Finance and First Deputy Minister of Community Development and Infrastructure, and also worked at state-owned companies.
