A political analyst criticized Fedorov over the failure to defend the airspace and the presentation of the "Army of Robots"

Political analyst Yevhen Magda stated that the “Closed Sky” system promised by former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov did not deliver the claimed results. This refers to the promise to intercept up to 95% of missiles and drones.

According to Magda, instead of tangible results, the public is getting new presentations, including AI-generated videos about the “Army of Robots.” He believes that such materials can create expectations that do not correspond to actual capabilities.

Separately, the political analyst cited data from “Ukrainska Pravda” regarding problems with the procurement of missiles for the Patriot system and other types of weaponry. He also pointed out issues with the defense budget and the implementation of certain military programs.

Magda emphasized that during wartime, society expects government projects to provide, first and foremost, real protection for military personnel and civilians—not just promotional materials.

At the same time, the assessments and statements regarding Fedorov’s activities cited in his post represent Magda’s own position, which draws, in particular, on a publication by “Ukrainska Pravda.”
