The Ministry of Culture has extended the reservation for a company affiliated with the band Okean Elzy
The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has confirmed the status of “SuperSymmetry” LLC—a company associated with the band “Okean Elzy”—as a critically important enterprise. This allows the company to retain the status necessary to retain its employees.
The corresponding Order No. 936 was signed on August 18 by Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna.
According to the document, the company meets the three criteria required to obtain this status. In particular, “Supersymmetry” has no arrears in tax payments or unified social contributions, and the average salary of its employees is at least three times the minimum wage. The company has also been recognized as being of significant importance to the national economy.
Separately, the Ministry of Culture noted that over the past 12 months, the company has implemented at least two nationwide cultural and artistic projects covering at least ten regions of Ukraine, and/or projects abroad aimed at promoting Ukrainian cultural and creative products.
In addition, it has carried out at least three cultural and artistic projects for military personnel and war veterans. The company is also registered in Ukraine and has been operating for more than three years, with its core activities falling within the creative industries.
In light of this, the Ministry of Culture has confirmed “Supersymmetry” LLC’s status as a critically important enterprise. The Department of Arts and Creative Industries will continue to monitor the company’s activities and its compliance with established requirements.
