Germany has donated more than 23 metric tons of power generation equipment to the Odesa region
German partners have delivered more than 23 metric tons of power equipment to the Odesa region. The humanitarian aid is intended to support the region’s energy infrastructure and help restore it following potential Russian attacks.
“More than 23 metric tons of power equipment were delivered to the Odesa region from the Ministry of Energy’s hub warehouses with the support of the German company Amprion GmbH,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the delivered equipment will help Ukrainian energy workers maintain the reliable operation of the Odesa region’s power grids.
In addition, the humanitarian aid will be used to quickly restore power supply in the event of outages caused by Russian attacks.
Thus, the support from German partners is expected to enhance the ability of Odesa region’s energy workers to respond quickly to damage to energy infrastructure and ensure the stable operation of the grid.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
In addition, Japan plans to resume discussions on the possibility of providing or selling weapons to Ukraine, specifically interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems.
Spain, Belgium, and Poland have already begun supplying Ukraine with 20-mm ammunition. This ammunition is needed, in particular, for the F-16 fighter jets that Ukraine is using against Russian jet drones.
