Ukraine's New Prime Minister Met with the EU Ambassador
Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi met with Katarina Maternová, the European Union’s ambassador to Ukraine.
Koretsky noted that he thanked Maternova “for the European Union’s unwavering support for Ukraine.”
“We discussed the opening of the remaining negotiation clusters regarding EU accession, preparations for the coming winter, and financial assistance under the Loan to Support Ukraine,” he said.
The head of the Ukrainian government wrote about this on his X account.
Koretsky wants to strengthen oversight of the Cabinet’s work.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is reportedly considering replacing Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. The Financial Times reported this, citing a senior official in the Office of the President whose name was not disclosed.
