The wife of Kolesnik, the former deputy head of the TCC, bought an Audi for 12 times less than its market price

In May 2025, the wife of Gennadiy Kolesnik, the former deputy head of the Oleksandriya District Territorial Control Center, purchased a 2014 Audi Q5 for 50,000 hryvnias. According to market value data, such a car currently costs over 600,000 hryvnias, meaning the declared price is approximately 12 times lower.

Kolesnik confirmed to reporters that his wife did indeed pay exactly 50,000 hryvnias for the Audi. According to him, the low price is explained by the fact that the car was purchased with a broken engine.

Another car joined the family in 2025 as well. Kolesnik’s daughter purchased a 2012 Jaguar XF, which her father drives.

The former official explained that the Jaguar belongs to his daughter, who lives in Kyiv and often travels abroad. He said that due to the high cost of parking, she leaves the car with him in Oleksandriya, which is why he uses it.

Kolesnik and his wife also each own an apartment in Oleksandriya. The former deputy head of the district tax and customs office himself declared ownership of a VAZ 21013.

In 2025, Kolesnik received 487,000 hryvnias in salary and an additional 37,000 hryvnias in pension benefits. His wife declared 487,000 hryvnias in salary, 50,000 hryvnias in income from renting out property, and 660,000 hryvnias from business activities.

Following the scandal, Kolesnik resigned from his position, but there is no information regarding the initiation of a criminal case.
