In Kyiv, Prince Harry called on the U.S. to take a leading role in the war between Russia and Ukraine
During his speech at the Kyiv Security Forum, Prince Harry stated that the United States plays a key role in Russia’s war against Ukraine and must demonstrate leadership for the sake of global stability.
He added that now is the moment when American leadership can determine the course of events.
“Now is the time for American leadership to step up for the sake of stability,” Prince Harry emphasized.
He also noted the resilience of Ukrainians and their capacity for innovation, which has already earned the country international recognition.
“Ukraine has earned the respect of the entire world through its resilience and innovation,” he noted.
At the same time, the prince stressed that the key question lies in whether other nations are prepared to match Ukraine’s resolve.
“Will the rest of the world match Ukraine’s resolve?” he added.
As a reminder, Prince Harry made his third visit to Ukraine—this time, the trip took place without an official announcement.
Prior to this, on the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, Prince Harry recorded a video message to Ukrainians, in which he shared his impressions from his visits to Ukraine over the past year.
Prince Harry recently appeared on an episode of the American show “The Late Show,” where he performed in a comedy sketch in which he joked about U.S. President Donald Trump.
