Ramina reported racist insults at the Polish border
Blogger and interviewer Ramina Eskhakhzai reported that she was subjected to racist insults while going through passport control at the Polish border.
According to Eskhakhzai, the “Kyiv–Przemyśl” train was nearly two hours late, putting her at risk of missing her flight. The blogger asked the passengers to let her go ahead, showing her plane ticket. Most people agreed to help, but several female passengers refused and, according to her, started a confrontation.
After that, Ramina claims, she was subjected to racist insults, including the phrase “Gypsy scum,” which caused her to break down in tears.
Despite the incident, the blogger thanked the people who helped her get through security and reach the airport on time.
The story sparked lively discussion on social media: some users and Ukrainian celebrities expressed support for Ramina, while others pointed out that travel during wartime should be planned with more time to spare.
