Rutte: Ukraine's NATO membership is not a priority at this time
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the issue of Ukraine’s accession to the Alliance is not currently a priority.
According to him, Ukraine’s path to NATO remains open, as agreed at the 2024 summit in Washington.
At the same time, Rutte noted that this process will take time, as there are countries among the allies that do not yet support Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance.
As a reminder, the NATO mission in Iraq has withdrawn all personnel to Europe.
Rutte also called on NATO countries to support the U.S. military operation against Iran.
