The SBU caught the deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration taking kickbacks for road repairs
The Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General have exposed Vladislav Falyush, deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, for organizing a scheme to embezzle public funds.
The official demanded kickbacks amounting to 5% of the contract value in exchange for signing contracts for the repair of interregional highways and securing their funding.

The suspects have been charged under Part 3 of Article 368 and Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspects face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. The issue of selecting a preventive measure is currently being decided, and the involvement of other officials and representatives of local law enforcement agencies is being investigated.
