A rescue operation has been completed in Kharkiv at the site of a Russian strike on a high-rise building
Emergency rescue operations have been completed in Kharkiv at the site where Russian forces struck a nine-story residential building in the Saltivsky district. The attack injured 48 people, including 12 children, and rescuers saved 32 people from the building.
The nighttime strike on September 28 targeting the Saltivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv caused structural damage to apartments on the lower floors of the nine-story building.
Personnel and equipment from the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region and the “Donetsk-Luhansk” Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center were deployed to address the aftermath. Specialists cleared the rubble, while rope access technicians dismantled the destroyed and damaged structures.

Earlier reports indicated that 28 people, including nine children, were injured when a high-rise building in Kharkiv was struck.
