In Kyiv, a 24-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a guardrail
A fatal traffic accident involving a female motorcyclist occurred in Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi District. After crashing into a guardrail, the 24-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The accident occurred on Kiltseva Road around 11:00 p.m. According to preliminary information from law enforcement, the driver of a Honda motorcycle was traveling in the first lane toward Territorial Defense Street. While driving, she lost control and crashed into a metal guardrail.
The injuries she sustained as a result of the impact were fatal—the driver died before medical personnel arrived.
Investigators from the Traffic Accident Investigation Unit have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of the victim). Law enforcement officials are investigating all the circumstances and causes of the tragedy.
