In Lutsk, a crowd attacked a TSK vehicle and beat up two soldiers
In Lutsk, about 30 people attacked a vehicle belonging to the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. During the attack, two soldiers were beaten, and the vehicle was vandalized and ransacked.
How the conflict began
The incident occurred on August 20 at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy Street in Lutsk. At a checkpoint near the car market, the vehicle was stopped for a document check.
The driver refused to present his documents or provide his personal information, after which he left the scene. A police crew with flashing lights turned on pursued the vehicle.
At 8:30 p.m. on Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy Street, the driver abandoned the car at a traffic light and ran toward residential buildings. Police officers and soldiers from the Territorial Defense Forces gave chase. The patrol car eventually stopped in the passageway between the buildings.
Thirty people attacked the military personnel
Thirty civilians approached the scene and began physically resisting the police and TCC military personnel.
“After that, 30 civilians approached the scene and began physically resisting police officers and TCC military personnel, striking them with their hands and unidentified objects,” says Daria Stelmashchuk.
One of the participants in the altercation threw shards of glass at the military personnel.
As a result of the altercation, two TCC military personnel sustained injuries, including numerous bruises and abrasions.
The TCC’s service vehicle was also damaged:
all the windows and headlights were smashed;
all the tires were damaged;
a radio, a body camera, and the keys were stolen from the vehicle.
An investigative team was called to the scene. One of the participants in the conflict was detained and taken to the district police department.

In Odesa, veterans forced a representative of the Territorial Recruitment Center to apologize to a child.
As a reminder, during Operation “Honest Draft,” law enforcement exposed illegal actions by two mobilization groups from the Kyiv District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Odesa. Ten military personnel were notified of the charges against them.
Earlier, law enforcement officials detained the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Purpose Unit on suspicion of receiving illegal benefits totaling 15,000 U.S. dollars. According to the investigation, the official was caught receiving $10,000 in exchange for failing to take mobilization measures against three men subject to military service, removing them from the “Oberig” system’s wanted list, and ensuring conditions for their continued employment at their places of work.
In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, a senior lieutenant—the deputy company commander at one of the district Military Registration and Enlistment Offices—was detained on suspicion of assaulting a subordinate soldier. The man was intoxicated at the time.
