The National Guard has established a unit of interceptor drones
A special-purpose unit has been formed within the Separate Artillery Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. Its mission is to destroy enemy strike drones using interceptor drones. According to reports, the unit has already achieved its first combat successes.
The National Guard of Ukraine announced this on Telegram and released a video.
“The Separate Artillery Brigade is expanding and confirming its status as one of the most effective brigades of the National Guard of Ukraine. Recently, a separate special-purpose unit was formed within the Separate Artillery Brigade, which uses interceptor drones to destroy enemy strike drones,” the statement reads.
As noted, the first significant results of combat operations and confirmed hits have already been achieved. Details to follow.
“This is the result of the brigade’s consistently proactive stance on implementing new methods of defending Ukraine,” the National Guard concluded.
The National Guardhas received new armored ambulances.
Also, Ukrzaliznytsia is launching a new Kyiv–Chisinau route with a stop near the airport.
The commander of the National Guardstated that Ukraine is prepared to fight Russia for several more years.
