Ukraine has set a five-year record for egg exports
In March 2026, Ukraine exported 216.2 million eggs—the highest monthly figure in the past five years. Revenue from these exports exceeded $24 million, representing a 57% year-over-year increase.
This was reported with reference to the Ukrainian Poultry Farmers Union.
Compared to February 2026, egg export volumes increased by 23%, and by 25% year-over-year. Revenue of $24 million exceeded the March 2025 figure by 57%.
In the first quarter of 2026, Ukraine exported 579.5 million eggs worth $66 million. This represents a 17% increase in volume and a 74% increase in revenue compared to the first quarter of 2025.
Where Ukrainian eggs are going
The main buyers in January–March 2026 were:
- Spain – 26.1%;
- United Kingdom – 13.1%;
- Poland – 11.7%;
- Israel – 8.3%.
European Union countries account for 74% of Ukraine’s egg exports overall.
