Rain and thunderstorms will sweep across Ukraine, with temperatures rising to +33
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Ukraine on August 18, with heavy precipitation in some areas of the west, as well as possible hail and squalls of up to 15–20 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from +28 to +33°; in the western regions and in Zhytomyr Oblast, they will be +20 to +25°, while in Kyiv, temperatures are expected to reach up to +30°.
At night in the western regions, and during the day across Ukraine (except for the southeast and east), there will be moderate rain; in the west of the country, heavy rain is expected in some places, along with thunderstorms, and in isolated areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s. The wind will be southerly, shifting to northwesterly in the western regions, at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures will range from 15–20° at night to 28–33° during the day, and 20–25° in the western regions and Zhytomyr Oblast.
On Tuesday, August 18, Kyiv will be cloudy with some sunny intervals. No precipitation at night; during the day, rain, thunderstorms, and in some areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s. The wind will be from the south at 7–12 m/s. Temperatures across the region will range from 15–20° at night to 28–33° during the day; in Kyiv, they will range from 18–20° at night to 28–30° during the day.

Forecasters are warning of hazardous weather conditions across the Kyiv region and Kyiv—Level I hazard, yellow.

According to data from the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory, the average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in July was 20.8°C, which is 0.5°C below the climatic norm.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a warning about temperatures reaching 38° and a fire hazard.
