Ukrenergo does not plan any power outages on August 9
On Sunday, August 9, Ukraine does not plan to impose electricity consumption restrictions. At the same time, Ukrenergo is urging Ukrainians not to overload the grid and to use electricity sparingly during peak consumption hours.
The company noted that it does not plan to implement electricity consumption restrictions on August 9. “Tomorrow, on Sunday, no restrictions are planned,” the statement reads.
Nevertheless, Ukrainians are asked to use electricity sparingly throughout the day. This applies especially to the period from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ukrenergo advises against turning on several high-power electrical appliances at the same time during this period, if possible. This will help reduce the load on the power grid.
Thus, no planned power outages are expected for consumers on Sunday. At the same time, the situation in the power grid may change, so Ukrainians are urged to monitor further announcements from energy officials. NEC “Ukrenergo” reported this on Facebook.
