According to results for January–April 2026, Ukrposhta ended the period with a profit of 106.3 million hryvnias and improved its key financial indicators.
EBITDA, which reflects the efficiency of the company’s core business operations, rose from a negative 13.6 million hryvnias to a positive 122.9 million hryvnias.
The company also strengthened its financial position: in April, Ukrposhta’s equity reached 2.3 billion hryvnias.
The company attributed the improved results to increased operational efficiency, specifically through the automation of sorting, modernization of logistics, renewal of the vehicle fleet, and the development of digital services.
A separate focus has been the optimization of non-core assets, with proceeds from their sale directed toward further infrastructure modernization and service development.
Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smiliansky stated that the positive financial results were a consequence of the company’s transformation, despite a difficult winter and rising fuel costs.
Ukrposhta disclosed the salaries of Supervisory Board members following a complaint by journalists to the ombudsman.
Ukrposhta received 100% protection as a military infrastructure facility.
