Video: Ukrzaliznytsia has released a video about the deadly dangers of train surfing among teenagers
Since the beginning of 2026, three teenagers have died in Ukraine after attempting to climb onto train cars to take photos or videos, and nine others have suffered severe injuries.
This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
The company emphasized that the overhead power lines carry 27,500 volts and can deliver an electric shock even without direct contact. Most of the victims suffered burns covering more than 50% of their bodies, which can lead to amputations, prolonged treatment, or death.
Ukrzaliznytsia urged people not to risk their lives for the sake of “spectacular” content for social media.
