Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled two additional trains to the Carpathians for the weekend
Ukrzaliznytsia is adding two extra trains on the popular Carpathian route for the coming weekend. The decision was made due to increased demand for rail travel to mountainous regions.
Due to high demand for trips to the mountains, we are launching:
- No. 251/252 Kyiv — Rakhiv — Kyiv
- No. 277/278 Kyiv — Mukachevo — Kyiv
The trains will depart from Kyiv on June 12 and 14, and in the opposite direction on June 13 and 15.
The additional trips were made possible thanks to the rapid reallocation of rolling stock and the use of cars that were recently repaired at Ukrzaliznytsia’s own facilities.
Tickets are already available on the app and on the Ukrzaliznytsia website, the company reported.
