The High Anti-Corruption Court will resume hearing the Tymoshenko case on September 17
The High Anti-Corruption Court will continue the preliminary hearing in the case of People's Deputy Yulia Tymoshenko. The next hearing is scheduled for September 17.
“The hearing is adjourned until 10 a.m. on September 17,” he said.
During Thursday’s pretrial hearing, Tymoshenko requested the original records of covert investigative actions (NSRD) to establish whether the prosecution had disclosed the identities of confidential informants in her criminal case.
A representative of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, as well as an expert who analyzed the audio recordings in this case, will be invited to the next preparatory hearing.
This was announced by High Anti-Corruption Court Judge Oleg Tkachenko.
The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered former Minister Koval to pay over ₴4.3 million due to an unreasonably high apartment price.
Vitaliy Koval, the former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, has filed a lawsuit against the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP).
Earlier, it was reported that the prosecutor’s office is asking the court to confiscate part of the value of the apartment where Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval resides, as an unjustified asset. The apartment was purchased by the official’s mother-in-law for $300,000 of unknown origin and was subsequently rented to her daughter.
Another Ukrainian minister, the former head of the agricultural committee, was caught misappropriating state-owned land worth 291 million hryvnias and attempting to misappropriate an additional 190 million hryvnias worth of land.
