Volunteer Mykhailo Puryshev said he had left Russia and was safe
Ukrainian volunteer Mykhailo Puryshev, who traveled to Moscow after the FSB blackmailed him using his son, reported that he is no longer in Russia.
In a video posted on his social media accounts, Puryshev stated that he is doing well and is safe. However, he did not reveal his current location or provide details about what happened in Moscow.
Puryshev also thanked human rights organizations, God, and the people who supported him during this ordeal.
It is known that on August 17, the volunteer flew from Istanbul to Moscow. According to his team, he did indeed record the video that was released.

According to Ukrainian volunteer Mykhailo Puryshev, Russian intelligence services attempted to recruit him by threatening to draft his 18-year-old son into the Russian army and send him to fight in the war against Ukraine. In an attempt to save his son, Puryshev voluntarily flew to Moscow on August 17, after which he stopped responding to communications.
