Another 32 Ukrainian children were successfully evacuated from the occupied territory

As part of the “Bring Kids Back UA” initiative, another 32 children and teenagers were rescued last week from Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories, where they had been under constant pressure and threat from the occupiers.

Among those returned was a six-year-old boy who suffered severe psychological trauma due to systematic shelling and attacks by Russian drones, a 17-year-old girl whose home was struck by a drone and who was forced at gunpoint to attend an occupation school, as well as a 16-year-old boy whom his family hid at home for four years to protect him from compulsory education under the Russian Federation’s curriculum and from being registered for military service.

The children are currently safe and undergoing reintegration at the “Hope and Recovery” centers, where they receive psychological support, assistance with paperwork, and necessary shelter.

Ukraine has already managed to bring back 2,126 children abducted by the Russian Federation as part of the “Bring Kids Back UA” initiative.

Ukraine has managed to return two children who were left without parental care in Kazakhstan and found themselves in another country on their own. The brother and sister were evacuated from Almaty following a complex, multi-stage operation coordinated by Ukrainian authorities. The children are now safe at home.
