Energy professionals have created a website to track stork migration
DTEK has launched the “Track the Storks” online platform, which allows users to track the movements of white storks equipped with special GPS trackers in real time.
The birds’ location data is updated every two hours, which will allow scientists to better study their migration routes and enable energy companies to take them into account when building and operating energy infrastructure.
To view the geolocation, users need to go to the website, click “Track the Storks,” and select the name of a specific bird. The company noted that there may be temporary delays in data updates in areas where network coverage is weak.

In Kyiv, patrol officers helped an injured stork that was lying on the side of the road and unable to fly due to its injury. The bird was carefully rescued and handed over to specialists for treatment and rehabilitation.
Soldiers from the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade rescued a stork that had become entangled in an anti-drone net above the road and, due to exhaustion, was falling after every attempt to take flight.
