Zelenskyy: Ukraine and Saudi Arabia are developing strategic cooperation in three areas

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

According to the head of state, the two sides are developing strategic cooperation in three key areas.

“There is a strategic security agreement that we are actively developing in three key areas,” Zelenskyy noted.

The first area is the export of Ukrainian expertise in the field of security, particularly air defense. The second is energy cooperation, which is intended to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience. The third is food security.

The President emphasized that the parties have identified specific tasks for their teams and expect them to be carried out promptly.

“We are working together to strengthen our nations and partners. Now, when international relations are significantly destabilized, it is precisely this kind of bilateral cooperation that restores confidence,” he added.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the situation in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Saudi Arabia, where he plans to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

Zelenskyystated that negotiations regarding Ukraine cannot wait for the war in Iran to end.
