Zelenskyy expressed his readiness for mutually beneficial relations with Georgia
The President of Ukraine congratulated Georgia on its Independence Day. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized Ukraine’s readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
The head of state announced this on social media platform X.
“Our nations are united by long-standing ties and a shared understanding of the value of freedom and dignity. I wish Georgia peace, unity, strength, and prosperity. We look forward to mutually beneficial relations, and Ukraine is ready to move in this direction,” he noted.
Prior to this, Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees No. 317/2026 and No. 318/2026 awarding state honors to over 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen, some of whom received the awards posthumously.
