Zelenskyy proposed that Putin meet during the G7 summit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has requested a meeting with Vladimir Putin during the G7 summit, which will take place June 15–17 in Evian-les-Bains, France.
According to the president, Ukraine has sent a request for a meeting with Putin during the G7 summit (to be held June 15–17 in Evian-les-Bains, France) to discuss matters in the presence of U.S. and EU leaders.
“Trump and Macron will be there, so it’s the Europeans plus America. This is a good opportunity to meet all together,” Zelenskyy said.
However, Russia has once again demonstrated that it is not ready for dialogue, the president told reporters near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which was damaged by a Russian strike, RBC-Ukraine reports.

As a reminder, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, causing a fire.
Prior to that, Russian missiles struck the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving several people injured.
Five State Emergency Service rescuers were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv.
